Dorrington II

Mr. L. B. Goodrich sold from Radnor Park, State Centre, Ia., the well-known hackney stallion Dorrington 2d to Mr. Walter L. Clark, NY. Son of the great Denmark, his dam was by Rickell's St. Giles.  He had bred several foals from Dorrington which he kept for his own use in harness, as he had driven the old horse long enough to conclude that the Hackney was the preeminent roadster for the country. Dorrington , clean-legged, was without a blemish. He sired some prize-winners at the New York show but his best known daughter was the seven-year-old Psyche, a prize-winner at Chicago, Detroit and Youngstown
