Canadian Hackney Horse Census

Below is a Census of the Hackney Horses in Canada, found via public records that are of an age to be still living today. I have tried to find the most recent status of these horses.       A bold R means that they have left the breeder and have been sold with papers.                 A bold R means that they were bought back by the breeder with papers.                            A bold R means that they have changed owneres more than once with papers in tact.          O of C means the horse has left Canada                                                                            Lost/P means the horse has been separated from it’s CHS papers no record of transfer

Please help us up date this census with any information you might have as to correct owner, whereabouts, and status of these or any additional horses. If you have any to add or corrections please use the link below. The Hackney Horse is very much in danger of disappearing. In 2007 only four male and two female Hackney Horse foals were added to the CHH data base.     One horse mare imported from the US

Names in red will be removed from the census and not counted unless I receive notice that they are still with their owner. They will be moved to the over 25 years group.         Purple will be move up to red at the beginning of the next year.
